Van voice note tot complete song met Printz Board | In The Cut Flipping a Voice Note into a Full Song with Printz Board | In The Cut

We head to Paramount Studios in Los Angeles to hang out with Grammy Award-winning producer Printz Board and the Butterfunk family (B.F.F.). In this episode of In The Cut, the massive studio band takes a simple voice note and transforms it into a fully tracked song. Watch as Printz explains his creative process, starting with generating 38 different tracks from a single voice note before narrowing them down to the perfect foundation. He details the emotional story behind their song "Shoot Me Down," addressing a real-life traumatic event for the very first time. The team uses Suno as a digital audio workstation, utilizing the platform to stem out audio, change keys, and manipulate tempos. With a stacked room of musicians, including horns, keys, bass, drums, and guitars, they layer human performance over the generated foundation to create something that completely moves the room. For Printz, the technology is just another collaborator in the room, elevating the music and helping creators change the fabric of the world.
