In The Cut How MyGuyMars Built a 50-Piece Choir for His Funk Album | In The Cut

What happens when the co-founder of the "greatest band and production team in the world" brings new technology into the studio? Sign up for Suno here: https://suno.com/?utm_source=Social&utm_medium=YTSF&utm_campaign=InTheCut In this episode of In The Cut, we sit down with MyGuyMars of 1500 or Nothin' to see how he is building out tracks for his upcoming funk album. Instead of fighting the technology, Mars treats Suno like a collaborator, or as he puts it, an extension of his own band's game of "musical chairs". Watch as he demonstrates his iterative prompting process, generating ideas, filtering out what he doesn't want, and pulling stems to expand on the music. He breaks down how the platform allows him to generate 12 to 15 solid ideas in a single hour, isolate a bassline, and replay it himself. Plus, he explains the massive logistical cheat code of instantly summoning a choir without spending eight hours setting up mics for 50 to 100 people. As Mars says: "I just want us to win together... Cheers to being better together."
